This coat is sooooo soft! Someone said it ran a little small, but I think it runs a little large. I generally wear a 14 so I ordered a 16 thinking that if I wore anything bulky under it, it would take up the space. I should have ordered a 14, but I'm keeping the coat. I really like it.
Coat is nice albeit a little thin. The sizing is on the small size. I wear a 12 in almost every brand from low end to high end and this coat does not leave much room to wear a heavier sweater underneath for winter wear. I didn't return as I didn't want to pay the shipping charges.
Exactly as pictured - but thinner than old wool coats
I normally wear L to XL tops, size 10, 5' 7", 140lbs, and I ordered a size 14 to fit sweaters underneath. I was afraid it would be huge but it's perfect. The sleeves could be a bit longer but it will work. I haven't had a chance to wear yet in MN winter, but I hope it's warm enough. It is so hard to find a long wool coat that doesn't cost $300. I had one 15 years ago and this is definitely lighter weight, but who knows, with today's technology maybe it is just as warm. I wish it came in colors though, with pets I had no choice but to go with camel and that is not my favorite color.
I wanted to love this coat, but . . .
I really wanted to love this coat because I've bought several sweaters that are mid-calf length and I don't want the sweater showing underneath the coat. That part of the coat fit the bill, the length is great. However, the camel color is very light and just didn't look very rich to me. The coat runs large. I ordered size 4, no smaller size appeared to be available. It also came very wrinkled. Had I kept the coat, it would have to go to the dry cleaners to be steamed. All of that being said, I would probably recommend ladies give the coat a try. It just didn't work for me.
This coat is exactly as pictured. I got it in tall black. I am 5'10 and it hits me about where it hits the model. The pockets are sewn shut and it has a split in the back (sewn together at the bottom but easily alterable). It is a traditional A line shape that is true to size. I wear a size 18 and would normally size up for a coat but followed my instincts and didn't in this case. I ordered this in my size and can actually button it if I want. Its nice to finally have a coat that isn't too big because I had to size up to make room for my boobs. If your tall and curvy and looking for a coat in this style that fits without looking too big, get this coat.

Received my coat today and I am very happy with it, the fit, the color, the material. Thank you.
The coat feels very warm, it looks expensive, it is made nicely with great material... And the best thing of all is I got it for less than $50 on clearance sale. The only colors available on clearance was the garnet, I guess not a lot of people would rock that color that's why it was on sale. I'm still waiting for the other colors to go on sale. I'm 5'2 and weigh 125 lbs, got the size 4 misses. This was a great purchase! Go ahead and buy one for yourself too! :)
Love this camel coat - I also have one in white. It is nice to know I can count on a tall and extra length fashion that is not also oversized. This is tall, long and sleek and perfect for me.
This was my first purchase from Metrostyle, and I am pleased. Luv the length of the coat on my tall frame! The black coat is very elegant, and the fit is flattering (I am 5'11", size 6/8 (slender up top, but a thick derriere & thighs below) and ordered the 8. The coat is not bulky even though I purchased the larger size 8. It can be dressed up or down. It's warm enough where I can wear a skirt & tall boots in the 30 degree weather of Philadelphia, and still remain warm. This is a very soft, "flowy", wool blend, almost like a heavy weight fleece (yet not unattractive like fleece coats tend to be), and although I was expecting a thicker, firmer wool blend, the cost is still nice. In terms of arm length, I was expecting the arms to be a little longer and it stops just at my wrists. I decided to leave my pockets sewn shut so there is no gaping at my curvy hips. I'm having fun accessorizing this coat with my many hats, scarves, shoes, and purses! (Side note...Telephone customer se
Long Wool-blend Coat
I love my coats. I first bought the winter white one and liked it so much, I decided to get the black one. The quality, price, and look are outstanding. If the coat is offered in different colors next year, I will purchase again.
I am so disappointed! After reading all of the wonderful reviews I purchased this coat in Camel. The color is horrible. It's more of a mustard color than camel. The fit was not flattering at all. I have purchased many items from Metrostyle in the past and have always been very pleased, but this coat will be going back for a full refund!
I'm so happy the black is back in stock. I waited all year for it. I ordered the winter white one last year. It's so classy and comfortable. Love this coat!!! :)
Great coat for price

I ordered the winter white coat. It is very sophisticated, classy and it elongates your figure. I have received many compliments for it. I absolutely love it!!

I ordered this in the Tall Camel and just love it.Finally,a coat with sleeves long enough.I'm 6'2" with a 36in. inseam so the length of this coat is great. The wool blend is very soft and supple,it allows the coat to show some body shape, very feminine. It's an excellent purchase and it was on sale!!Couldn't ask for more, except to ask for more items in your tall sizes, please!!Thank you, Thank you
