Doesn't fit well
Doesn't fit like leggings should. I wish I wouldn't have worn them so I can get my refund.
These fit well and the denim was fairly heavy weight. Not as good a quality as in years past, but better than most these days.

This item was described as twill, but is just plain, light-weight cotton. Okay for warm weather only.

I love the look of these but they run large, and they sag very easily. I returned them, thinking I'd exchange them for a Small, but decided they are more like jeans than leggings, and I don't need more jeansl...not much stretch to the fabric
Not Impressive, But Do-able
Ordered 2 pr (Blk & Drk Denim). I had to order 'Tall' in order to get the longer inseam (am only 5'6"). The black fit fine (true to size, longer length); nothing to write home about. The Drk Denim was returned -absolutely not not true to size, but dramatically smaller, leg opening (circumference of ankle) was smaller, much tighter around the calf. Don't know what happened w/that pr -got by Quality Control. Even though I kept the Blk pr, I would not recommend.

metroblues skinny leggings
I was disappointed, they fix more like regular jeans that legging. Ordered my normal XL size and they were much, much too big. f ix like hosptital strubs working pants.
Bring Back the Forenza brand
I ordered these leggings years ago, and the fit and style were awesome. Since then, I have reordered them and the material, size and fit have changed. They SAG VERY EASILY, aren't as stretchy, and the waistband is thicker. I used to consistently order these skinny leggings as well as the bootcut, but since you stopped getting them with the Forenza label, they haven't been the same. I will not be reordering these unless you change it back. I am not the first one to complain about this. Go back to the old Forenza brand and I will load up on them. I'm sure others will, too.
These leggings are a great fit. Love the straight leg look and no pockets so tops fit better over the pants. I also liked the weight of the denim. I ordered these to replace a pair I had worn out because I wore them so much.
A staple in my wardrobe
These leggings are a staple in my wardrobe. I wear them more than any other pants I own; they're so easy to put with all kinds of tops and jackets. I love the straight leg. The fabric is a bit thinner than I would like. And it's also a MAGNET for all kinds of lint and pet hair. So by all means order these; but have a lint brush handy! Wish they'd make the same thing with 'jeans-like' pockets.
My "staple " for many years ~
I have been wearing these for years, first wearing them by the old name - (Not Metro Blue) which I think were a little better quality. I didn't give it 5 Stars because I would love SIDE POCKETS IN THESE. Style, fit, price = all good!

Fair For Price
The fit was OK overall but the dye job was really poor.
I'm dark complected and I was afraid you would be able to see through the fabric. It's perfect! I give it 5! :-)
Looked nice in the catalog
Ordered these jeans based on a previous pair that I've had for years which have nearly worn out. Ordered the same size and they run much larger than the previous pair. I will still wear them, but only around the house, they are comfortable. Not as stretchy as they used to be. More of a jean fit than a legging. I haven't ordered from Metrostyle in several years, and I've got to say I'm pretty disappointed.
Nice Looking in Catalog
Ordered the misses XL and they were way too Large. Always wear XL. The straight leg effect, just don't fit.
Nice Looking In Catalog
I'm 5'8 the length is perfect,I wear a size 8 tall, these jeans were way too large returned them for a size 6.skeptical of the fit.
Love the fact that Metro style offers slacks in TALL! Most companies don't. AND delivery was so fast. Great service. Thank you.
Cant beat the price & quality. Yes they are slightly thin but thats what makes them comfortable and stretchier plus they take up very little room in ones suitcase. Ive owned several pair for at least 10 yrs and I only wore out one pair when i bent over and the seam ripped. I often wonder where that happen at, lol. I use these for stage too. Yes one should wear a long shirt over them. I mean who tucks a shirt into highwaisted elastic jeans anyway. Frankly Im so sick of the hip riders, its nice to own a pair of normal waisted jeans. I am a clothes horse but these economically priced pants are my favorites. Its been 10 yrs so Im readying to order more of the black as well as the dk blue. My beige, lite blue & white jeans are still in great shape. Of course I like darker colors better so i wore them more. The dk blue keeps their color very well but the black fades like all black cotton jeans. But who cares. I can dress them up no matter how faded they become. I have realized that even tho
I love these leggings. Fit is perfect for me. The sale price and look of these are amazing.
Okay for the price
These leggings are okay with a long top. They run a little big. I'm usually a 14 or an x-lrg in a legging, size 12 fit fine. They are ok for casual wear for the price.
great leggings!! i am thin so i usually take them in some more..or put them in the dryer!! the price is the best i have seen also!
I love the fit of these leggings I have been wearing them for years. You can dress them up or wear them casually. Please keep these leggings ccoming!!!!!
A SOLID WINNER FOR THIS THIN GAL!
I am thin...and young-looking. these are by far the best leggings i have bought in a long time!! the stretch denim comes in several different shades of denim...plus black and white. i am 5 feet 4 inches tall so i get the petite always!! i am not middle aged nor am i overweight but these fit tight and look ma!!--no zippers...snaps or bulgy belt loops!
I take pride in looking nice when I am in public. I bought two pair in white. The stretch waist band fits perfectly over my round belly and gives me lots of comfort. The length is perfect with my two inch heels or flats. If you are middle aged or need to lose a few pounds, I say go ahead and get a couple pair. You will feel good in these until you lose weight.
Ankle tight skinny jean
Yiks! I have thin legs and ankles but this jean is tight around the ankle and very hard to get over my foot. Fabric is hard to the touch. Not comfy at all. Will do for now for running errands. Definitely not for casual/nice wear.
Bring back Forenza!
I am so disappointed with these. When you had Forenza brand, the pants were wonderful and fit perfectly. These new one are horrible. The legs are baggy and the material is cheap. I sent my order back. If you can no longer provide Forenza, I probably won't order again.
I did not like the way they fit I am returning them.
Well....I was so excited to finally find skinny jean leggings at a really great price....but...the delivered product does not match the tight ankle fit shown in the online picture.....but b/c the quality, color, and fit at only $19.99, I'll throw them on the sewing machine and taper the ankles at the seams.....then they'll look perfecto w/my strappy heels!
Great fit, nice and comfy, but also tailored looking so that I look trim! I like that there's options in terms of different denim looks. So I got the Blue Lagoon, which is sweetly dark but still looks a little faded, in a very nice way. Plus I also got a pair that is a gorgeous pale blue. Don't ever let this product go out of stock. It's a classic!
Poor Quality and Fit
I ordered these in a size larger than I usually wear because, in the past, I've had to order a size larger from this website. However, they were way too big. I returned them and re-ordered in a smaller size. These fit better and I will keep them, but they are not the quality for the same item that I've bought from Metrostyle in the past. They are baggy through the hips and upper legs, but do fit well around the lower leg and ankle. My legs and ankles are not large. I was surprised that the quality was not the usual excellent Metrostyle quality. I do recommend them because the price is good as are the colors.
Orange Park, FL
I never took them out of the package so I cannot comment about the fit. The dye job was streky and unevenly done. They looked damaged. Also they were not turquoise or lagoon they were almost exactly the same color as the dark denim.
I am returning these. The knees were baggy and the lower leg was poorly fitted. The contrast stitching is orange and very noticeable. It makes them look like work jeans instead of stylish leggings.
You have to wash them carefully as the dye tends to fade too quickly for my taste. The fit and style are exactly as describe and the price cannot be beat.
My favorite jeans!
I have two pairs of these jeans and have worn them and worn them, and they don't wear out. I have trouble finding talls that are long enough, and these are. They're soooo comfortable, and slimming, and I LOVE them! I'm buying three more while they're on sale!
I don't mind that they are thin, I prefer that feel for comfort. They seemed to run a bit small/tight, and were quite long for petites. I'm about 5'4 and thought that would be an ankle length, but they are way longer than that. Not cost effective to return, since metrostyle has very high shipping fees, both ways. I would not buy these again, also fabric was not the softest.
I want 10 more
Best fit and deal I ever got!!!!
New London, CT
I have worn Metro Blues Skinny Leggings for several years. I have them in brown, dark denim and black. All three pair are a medium/heavy weight denim material. The last pair I purchased are wine and the weight of the material is noticeably thinner. The seams are a scant 3/8" (prone to rip). They do not have the wearing ease that the previous pairs did (I am 14 pounds lighter). Please go back to your original cut and fabric.
Not as described
I don't call these leggings. They are just straight leg elastic waistband jeans. Got the grey. Too loose for tucking in my boots.
These are too loose fitting to be called "leggings" -- they are cotton stretch pants with an elastic waist. They are very comfortable, but not at all what I expected. I bought the black ones, everything fuzzy sticks to them so they never look clean. They are shrinking every time I wash them, and pretty soon they will be too short to wear.
I have worn Metro Blues for years! They fit great, fade just right, and NEVER wear out. I have several pairs of these jeans in different colors, from dark navy to faded denim and one black pair that has faded handsomely to a charcoal gray over about 8 years of wear. Without a doubt, the Metro Blues skinny leg jeans are by far my favorites !
Flowery Branch, GA
The only ones
I do not own any other pants than these. I have over 25 pairs in all colors. Every year new colors come out and I add them to my collection. Don't ever take them away!
Light wash color not as pictured
The light wash leggings are not nearly as light as the picture. In fact, there is very little difference between the light wash and the vintage. They fit great, though, and are very comfortable. I had to take the legs in because I like a slim fit.
I was concerned after I purchased praying and hoping these would look good..WOW! These are amazing..I'm 5 ft. 10 and got the medium tall in black..The black is very very black and the length is fabulous! I don't tuck in anything anyway, so the elastic waist is really comfortable versus the button jeans..Just SO SO Hapoy with these, and I rarely write reviews!
Simply the Best!
I have several pairs of these leggings. They are so comfortable. The fabric is very soft, & there is just enough stretch for a great fit. These should be a staple for any wardrobe. The price is always great. These are the only leggings I buy. They always fit, whereas store brands are very inconsistent. If you have the means, buy one in every color!
These pants run true to size. Fabric is for late spring to early fall wear. For the sale price, they are a great addition to a casual wardrobe.
