The dress fits overall, but it's a teensy bit snug in the waist, which happens to be my biggest area. I thought it would have a bit more stretch to it and be a bit more like a wrap dress, but either way, it's very pretty and I love the royal blue color I ordered.
I would probably wear it to work along with church and out with friends or on a date.

I'm a recent college grad, and this dress was perfect for my first job. It's a nice material, which is essential in my field (advertising) in order to be taken seriously--you want to at least LOOK like you sent a lot of money on it.
The stretchy material is nice because I have somewhat of a large chest, and it makes it more comfortable and you don't have to worry about it slicing your breasts.
I ordered an 8 to play it safe, but I wish I had gotten a 6--even though the waist has a tie belt, I feel like the belt hangs quite low when tied around my waist, even on my 5'11" body. And even though I'm rather tall, I think the tall size feels long, but it looks professional, I guess, to have a dress sit south of the knee. I've got to get used to that!
Advice: Make sure you get your own actual size. and the regular length dress would probably work on any woman six feet tall to 5'7".

Oh, wow! I just tried this on, and the fit and color couldn't be better! I bought this because it reminded me of Ann Miller in the movie "On the Town" when she sang "Prehistoric Man". I also have a hard time finding sexy dresses made of cotton that are also a bright color, and this one fills all those requirements! Wish it came it more colors. It does wrinkle quite easily, but I expect that from cotton. The length on me is longer than it appears in the picture, but with high heels, no problem. It's still totally sexy and I'm prepared to get tons of attention in it. The green color is exactly as it shows on my computer screen -- thank goodness, that's what I wanted! This dress is really cute and figure flatering; wrap dresses look great on everyone. I'm pretty tall; 6'0 and it's not too bad of a fit. My only problem is it's still a little shorter in the waist than I'd like but it's workable. Get it, you won't be disappointed with it.

I'm glad that this dress came in tall because the waistline, where the dress wraps, actually hits me in the right place. On the other hand, the length of the actual dress is a lot longer than the picture shows. It covers my calves- and I'm 5'11! I will probably have it hemmed.
