I bought this dress to dress up for a cocktail party. With the right accessories I think it might work. It is very comfortable and the fabric hangs nicely. The back is a v neck too so make sure that is what you want in a dress. I guess I didn't read carefully enough and was surprised at the low cut of the back. One thing that I wish was different about the dress is the dinky little tie at the side for decoration. I may just cut it off and use a sassy belt.

I had read the reviews and some had said it runs big, but I didn't believe them. I should have, as it does run big. I always buy small and this style of dress always fits me, but not in this case. I need an extra small. I was hestitant to order XS as that is always too tight for me. It is the shoulders to the waist portion that runs big. Very nice dress and you can dress it up or down. Very nice to wear if you want to look stylish, but still be comfortable.

I loved this dress, its the perfect go to little black dress. However, when I got it, it was torn in the back. It was almost like it had scissor holes. Anyway, I am returning it to get another because it is so easy to throw in your gym bag and go. Pair it with a sweater for work and take the sweater off for Happy Hour. I also got the long sleeved version of this dress. It is so great!

I purchased both the rust-color and black-multi and I must say - it has been a long time since I have had any dress fit my curves the way these two do! I am full-figured with ample chest measurements, a smaller waist and a fuller hip. The fabric of these dresses so completely hugs all my curves and "flows" over my hips in such an attractive and "slimming" manner. The patterns also add to the overall "slimming" effect. I have not worn either of them yet, but needless to say I cannot wait to wear them! Job well done, Metrostyle - you "nailed" it this time! (By the way, I did take the advice of some of the other reviewers and ordered a size smaller (large instead of XL) than I would normally wear - great advice!)
