This skirt can go anywhere from "casual Fridays" to shopping to weekend trips. I love the length and the dark denim color! It's a great weight for fall and winter with a pair of nice boots, casual or classy blouse and a jean jacket. The waist was a bit big, but a stylish belt cinches that problem!

The skirt and its design was what I expected and more. The only drawback was the length. The adverstised skirt seemed to be quite long on the model, but it actually fits mid-calf (I am 5' 6"), which is not very tall.

I loved the design of the skirt but how hard is it too all the sewing machines doing top stitching to have the same thread. There were three different threads. Also the side seams are top stitched only about 5 inches down from the waist and then it stops.

I have yet to buy a MS item that was true to size.
My purchases have all been cut either one size larger or one size smaller than the charts. Also, I'm 5'10" and it was almost to the floor. I sent it back.

Some of the stitching wasn't professional looking.
Some places on the skirt looked as if my grandmother stitched it with a hand needle.

There were three colors of top stitching. Mostly gold like described BUT the belt tabs were sewn down with light green and the front pockets had light blue stitching. I have reordered and will see if it was just that one skirt. It looked like they ran out of gold thread.
I love the fit and length!
